This warranty shall cover many defects in materials and workmanship called to the attention of the Contractor within one year of completion of the project. There are exceptions to this warranty of the Contractor, which Biggerstaff Construction will go over with client at time contract is acquired.

Biggerstaff Construction finds nothing more important than its customer satisfaction. Clients will be reminded of their warranty, asked to do walkthroughs and assured satisfaction.

WARRANTY LEGAL DESCRIPTION

CONTRACTOR'S WARRANTIES: Contractor warrants that all materials shall be as specified, and that the work to be performed shall be performed in accordance with the drawings and specifications and shall be completed in a workmanlike manner. This warranty of Contractor shall cover all defects in materials and workmanship called to the attention of Contractor through written notice to Contractor mailed within one year of completion of the project, other than those excepted below, and Contractor further warrants that all corrective work shall be completed within a reasonable time after any such defect is called to the attention of Contractor.

This warranty of the Contractor does not extend to any materials or services obtained directly by Clients, nor does this warranty cover any product which is manufactured by a third party and simply installed by Contractor. Any such product which is covered by a manufacturer's warranty shall not be warranted by Contractor, except that Contractor shall properly install such devices, if installation is called for by the plans and specifications. Furthermore, this Contractor's warranty does not cover the effects of ice damming upon roofs, including leaks or damage to the roofs or adjoining surfaces, nor does it cover any horizontal masonry surfaces, or horizontal surfaces which must be painted during construction, or thereafter.
